The advanced Fusion technology in Osmocote Blend 20-4-7 8-9 mo. binds the nutrient cores to the growing media, keeping them in place if the pot is tipped.

This is intended to be topdressed in arc-shaped piles on the surface of the media away from the plant's stem. Putting it on in a thicker pile, helps the Fusion Technology® bind the fertilizer to the surface. The intended use is on trees that have been grown in the pot for a while, so the media is filled with roots and is stable. The fertilizer portion is formulated to give the plant a quick boost after application to get the plant growing in the second season of growth. The resin-coated portion will then kick in and feed for 8-9 months.

How To Use

• 1. Verify product analysis, longevity, and rate for plants in your production system (for assistance, contact your regional ICL Territory Manager or call ICL Customer Service at 800-492-8255)
• 2. Consult rate tables printed on bag labels and product sheets
• 3. For Fusion top-dress applications, pile fertilizer in a comma shape away from the plant stem. Spreading it out over the surface will result in less adhesion.
• 4. Irrigate after application (irrigation frequency and volume should be adjusted during the crop production cycle according to crop type, environmental conditions, and desired soluble salt levels)
• 5. A product trial is recommended before adopting a new fertilizer program or making full-scale changes to standard cultural practices (test several rates on representative plant types)
• 6. Use caution when applying to plants being over-wintered under cover (if you can't monitor soluble salts and/or adjust irrigation practices, avoid Fall and Winter applications
• 7. Store in a clean, cool, dry place
